Thailand Visa Guide for Indian Travellers (2025-2026)

Good news! Indian passport holders can visit Thailand completely visa-free for up to 60 days. Here is everything you need to know before you travel.
Do Indians Need a Visa for Thailand?
No. Indian citizens can enter Thailand without a visa for tourism stays of up to 60 days. You can extend your stay by another 30 days at any Thai immigration office — a total possible stay of 90 days.
Important: Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) — Mandatory Since May 2025
Even without a visa, you MUST complete the TDAC online before you travel. This replaced the old paper arrival form (TM6).
- Fill it within 72 hours (3 days) before arrival at: tdac.immigration.go.th
- You will receive a QR code — keep it on your phone or printed out
- Airlines check this at check-in — without it you may be denied boarding
- It is completely free to complete
Documents to Carry at Immigration
- Valid Indian passport — minimum 6 months validity from date of arrival
- TDAC QR code (mandatory from May 2025)
- Confirmed return flight ticket
- Proof of hotel booking
- Proof of funds: minimum 20,000 THB per person or 40,000 THB per family — bank statement or cash
